NS Flex: travel without balance

The NS Flex is NS’s new service that allows passengers to travel with all public transport operators without balance. Passengers with and without NS subscriptions can also make use of NS Flex.

What is an NS Flex subscription

With an NS Flex, passengers can travel by public transport without any balance. So not only by train, but it is also possible to travel by bus, metro and tram. In addition, you can also use the OV-bike, without taking out an extra subscription.

As a traveler, you have everything under control. For example, you can switch from 2nd class to 1st class journey in the app up to 15 minutes after checking in. In addition, you can decide per month whether you travel with or without discounts. Finally, it is possible for subscribers to cancel the NS-Flex monthly, at no extra cost!

What are the NS Flex rates

With the handy app from NS, the travel costs are displayed in an overview. This allows you to set the limit yourself and when it is reached, you will be notified immediately.

NS-Flex which transporters

With the NS Flex you can make use of all public transport operators in the Netherlands. These include Arriva, Connexxion, GVB, Keolis Nederland, HTM, RET, etc. Also with these public transport operators you can travel unlimited. NS keeps track of everything and sends the invoice at the end of each month with an overview of all journeys made in that month.
