Tow-cost NS Day Return spotted! Until June 30, 2020 you can buy a cheap train ticket as a day return for €19,-. With this train ticket you can travel to and from any train station in the Netherlands. This Day Return is only valid during off-peak hours.

When can I travel by train

With this cheap train ticket you can only travel during the off-peak hours. That means the train card Monday to Friday before 06:30, between 09:00 – 16:00 and after 18:30 is valid. On weekends, all day long. If you’re travelling with this train ticket during rush hour. Then this can be seen as an invalid train ticket. Only during Koningsdag 27 April and the Dutch Grand Prix 2020 (1 – 3 May 2020) the railcard is not valid.

How to redeem a train card

  1. After payment, you will receive a confirmation from ActieVanDeDag with unique link to redeem the coupon code for valid train card;
  2. The NS will send the train card directly to you by e-mail;
  3. With this train ticket it is possible to load into the NS app on your phone or take it with you printed out.

Personally linked

The person who is travelling with the train ticket must be the one who left his details during the cashing in. This train ticket is personal.
